October is coming to a close and that means time is almost up for purchasing a raffle ticket for a chance to see the New England Patriots play the Buffalo Bills on December 26. Winning two game tickets could help deliver a merry Christmas to you or someone you know, but supporting the Campaign for Ending Hunger is the best reason to press your luck!
If your credit union is participating in ticket raffle sales, sold and unsold tickets must be returned together to the League by November 13, along with a check for sold tickets made out to: Take a Chance to End Hunger in Maine. As a reminder, credit unions are only responsible for tickets sold.
“Our credit unions have worked very hard over the past month to support this fundraising effort,” said Jen Burke, Public Affairs and Communications Manager at the Maine Credit Union League. “I appreciate the extra effort everyone has put in, as well as the enthusiasm from members for purchasing tickets. Two things are clear—New Englanders love their Patriots, and they also care deeply about ending hunger.”
The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on November 29 and the credit union that sold the winning ticket will be notified by phone. Gameday tickets will be distributed electronically. The winner will receive two tickets to the game with upgraded seats. Roundtrip bus transportation from the Cabela’s parking lot in Scarborough to Gillette Stadium and food before and after the game is included.
