The County FCU recently awarded nine $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors within the credit union’s field of membership. This year’s scholarship award winners include:

- Rhylee Kinney
- Jude Mosher
- Alex Picard
- Abigail St. Peter
- Amanda Winslow
- Madison Zeigler
- Carter Quist
To be eligible for a scholarship, candidates must submit an application which gets evaluated based on financial need, academic performance, participation in extracurricular activities, and length of credit union membership. Evidence of strong character and motivation outside the classroom also is considered.
“We have a rich history at our credit union of helping local students pursue their academic dreams following high school,” said Ryan Ellsworth, CEO of The County FCU. “This year’s scholarship recipients are outstanding individuals—both in and out of the classroom. We are proud to help them embark on their next journey and wish them the best of luck with their future endeavors in college.”
Over the past 24 years, The County FCU has awarded over $131,000 in scholarship money to area students.
