Even though there’s still snow on the ground, plans are underway for the Maine Credit Union League’s annual Ending Hunger Convention Golf Tournament taking place on May 18, 2023. Online registration is now open and spots are filling up fast. With a new location and a shotgun start format returning, we hope this year’s event will be our most successful fundraising tournament yet.
Help us end hunger one swing at a time! Sign up to sponsor the event and/or register a team. Our popular event also will feature an online silent auction with an array of items to bid on including gift baskets, sports tickets, and more! With another $1 million fundraising goal to reach this year for the Campaign for Ending Hunger, we hope we can count on your credit union’s support.
Event Details
While the cost of just about everything has increased over the past year, play at our tournament has not gone up. The price to enter is $165 per person or $640 to enter four players (a savings of $20 for a four-person team).
Our shotgun start begins at 9:00 am at the Poland Spring Golf Course in Poland, Maine. A light breakfast will be offered beginning at 7:45 am. Lunch also will be provided, and a brief reception will occur immediately following the tournament.

Sponsorships
We have a variety of sponsorships available to demonstrate your support for the Campaign for Ending Hunger. Sponsorship opportunities are on a first come, first-serve basis and three sponsorship levels (Course Champion, Beverage/Snack Station, and Own a Hole) include a foursome—a great value with top exposure!
Sponsorship packages that include golf are explicitly stated on the website. If you sponsor at a level that includes a golf foursome, you do not need to purchase a foursome or a single golf player ticket registration.
Please feel free to share our website with your vendors and other area businesses that might be interested in lending their support. Sponsorship opportunities will close on April 7.
Online Auction
The Campaign will be coordinating an online auction in conjunction with our golf event. While the items will be displayed at the League’s Convention at the Holiday Inn by the Bay on May 19, all bidding will be conducted online beginning May 1. Don’t forget to visit our website once bidding begins to take a chance at securing some great items and backing this important cause.
