Ensuring we are communicating with our multilingual members is important as we work through the pandemic. Thanks to our friends at Community Credit Union, multi-lingual notifications have been created in four languages (French, Portuguese, Arabic, and Somali) to help you share information about credit union lobby closures. These signs can be accessed on the League’s website.
In addition, the City of Lewiston has created videos in six different languages to help explain some of the COVID-19 guidelines coming from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the State of Maine. These videos are helpful to share with your multi-lingual members even if they do not live in Lewiston.
The League will continue to share additional multilingual resources and news as it is made available.
