There is a process to hiring the qualified candidate that will also mesh well with your existing team. And once your new hire settles in, it's equally as important to keep up with an appraisal process. Join Jane Thomas, Director of Education, for Supervisor University - Hiring and Appraisal Management Process on Wednesday, September 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Credit Union Service Center in Westbrook.
Jane will lead supervisors to develop questions and strategies to determine the qualities your credit union is looking for in a successful candidate. Supervisors in attendance will also learn how to conduct an interview that focuses certain on the behaviors and characteristics.
This Supervisor University course will also focus on the four phases in the performance cycle and how to use competencies and goals to conduct a meaningful appraisal. Jane will facilitate an interactive session for attendees to practice the interview and the performance appraisal when meeting with the employee.
