Coming together in-person is a special thing none of us take for granted anymore, and the workplace is no different. On August 27, Seaboard FCU excitedly gathered at a local community center in Orland for their first summer picnic since the pandemic. Attendees included 16 staff members with their families, as well as the credit union’s Board of Directors. Together, they played rounds of cornhole, socialized, ate delicious food, and enjoyed each other’s company. Topping it off, the group was blessed with sunshine and warm weather.
“This event was important because we have not held an in-person gathering since the pandemic,” shared Kylie Kennedy, Marketing Coordinator at Seaboard FCU. “It was fun to have staff from all branches attend as it allowed us to mingle and catch up. Our credit union is planning to host more events like the summer picnic because it was such a blast!”
