The League is pleased to announce that Ryan Poulin, CEO of New Dimensions FCU, has been presented with the 2020 League President’s Award. The award is given annually to the outstanding League volunteer.
“Ryan is a credit union champion and a dedicated advocate for his employees, members, and our League,” said Todd Mason, President/CEO of the Maine Credit Union League. “Not only can I rely on Ryan’s activism, I can count on his counsel as well. He always is one of the first people to step up to help when something needs to be done.”
As a longtime member of the League’s Governmental Affairs Committee, Ryan has testified in support of and against bills that would impact credit union operations and service to members. He has attended countless Hike the Hill events in Washington, DC, and has participated in numerous Credit Union Day events at the State House in Augusta. He also has assisted the League with commercials to support League-endorsed candidates.
Ryan regularly assists other credit unions whenever needed and has served as President of his credit union chapter. He has held volunteer positions within the credit union industry and has been a strong advocate for the Young Professionals Network. He also volunteers in his local community as a volunteer firefighter, a Boy Scout leader, at his local American Legion Post, and he participates in many community functions.
“He is a true leader, motivator, visionary, and most of all, a friend to the League and all credit unions,” said Mason. “It is truly my honor to recognize him in this way with the President’s Award.”
The League joins New Dimensions FCU in celebrating Ryan and congratulating him on this deserving recognition.
