Roundtable Speaker Profile: League President's Discussion Will Get Two-Day Session Started

As registrations for your League's Annual Management Roundtable on September 22-23, at the Samoset Resort in Rockport continue to come in at a steady pace, with overall attendance now at more than 70, we continue to profile some of the sessions that are scheduled. This week, we highlight the opening session, the Roundtable Discussion led by your League's President John Murphy.

What issues are facing Maine's credit unions in both the short and long-term?  What initiatives and other assistance are your League and Synergent doing to strengthen the credit union position in the marketplace? Those are just some of the topics that will be covered when your League's President John Murphy hosts his Annual Roundtable Discussion, the session that will begin this year's Management Roundtable. Murphy's presentation will also include significant time for an open dialogue of other issues and topics on the minds of attendees. Topics such as cyber security, attracting the best and brightest employees, positioning for the future of payments, and many other topics of interese were first discussed at the Roundtable Discussion. I look forward to hearing what is on the mind of credit union leaders, and discussing, as a group on how we can take advantage of opportunities valuable to Maine's credit unions," stated Murphy.

The action-packed Management Roundtable will also feature former NCUA Board Chair Dennis Dollar; Lee Wetherington, Director of Strategic Insight for ProfitStars®; a Panel of Maine CU CEOS; and Patrick Adams, Credit Union CEO and well-known, national speaker.
