Rainbow FCU Names Mark Samson As Its New President/CEO


The Board of Directors at Rainbow FCU has announced that Mark Paul Samson has been selected as President/CEO after an extensive national search. Mark will be assuming leadership of the credit union following the very successful 44 year tenure of current President/CEO, Phil Moreau, who will retire on June 30th. Mark has over 25 years of banking experience and joined Rainbow FCU in 2012 as Executive Vice President of Lending, where he directed a highly successful period of loan growth, product diversification and institutional advancement.

Prior to joining the credit union, Mark was the Senior Vice President/Senior Retail Lending Manager at Mechanics Saving Bank.

Mark is a graduate of Lesley University and holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management.  Mark is a former Maine State Legislator, Maine State Housing Commissioner, Androscoggin County Budget Committee member and Auburn Youth Hockey coach.
