Oxford FCU to Present Thursday Night in the Garden Series

Oxford FCU is pleased to announce that they are partnering with McLaughlin Garden & Homestead in South Paris to present the Thursday Night in the Garden event series. The summer program begins on June 16 at 6:00 pm with a presentation on carnivorous plants.

“We are very excited about this opportunity to partner with McLaughlin Garden,” said Lisa Marston, Oxford FCU’s Marketing Director. “Oxford FCU is really focusing on building community connections. This relationship is a good step in that direction and it’s a nice coincidence that our tagline is ‘let’s grow together’.”

The landmark two-acre garden is under the stewardship of the non-profit McLaughlin Foundation. This year marks their 25th year of working to preserve the historic home, barn, and garden for the public.

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Oxford FCU to enhance our community offerings,” shared Karla Horecky, Managing Director of McLaughlin Gardens. “With the credit union’s sponsorship, we can continue to offer this series of diverse summer evening events for free. We also will be able to help offset the cost of materials for the artists and presenters who donate their time and talent for our guests.”
