OTIS FCU Hosts First Annual Cornhole Tournament for Ending Hunger

OTIS FCU volunteers are all smiles at the cornhole tournament.

The results are in! OTIS FCU hosted their first annual Cornhole Tournament for Ending Hunger on Sunday, October 6 at Boondocks Farm in Canton, and they are thrilled to announce the fundraiser was a great success. In total, thanks to the support of attendees, staff, and area businesses, the credit union raised $3,655 for local food pantries.

The group enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon, complete with over 30 teams who showed up to support the cause. The top three teams walked away with cash prizes of $500, $350, and $150 respectively. OTIS FCU also offered several raffles, with items generously donated from local businesses, as well as a 50/50 drawing and airmail.

The credit union extends its thanks to all who participated in the fundraiser’s success—including cornhole professional Scott Thompson, who organized and led the event, and Boondocks Farm, who hosted.
