Throughout the month of March, Community Concepts Early Learning Center in Jay invited local businesses to read to children at their center to commemorate Read Across America This special initiative motivates kids to read, brings the joys of reading to students of all ages, and makes all children feel valued and welcome.
On March 28, Chris Bouchard, President/CEO at OTIS FCU, spent time in the classroom reading Green Eggs and Ham, Cat in the Hat, and Row, Row, Row Your Boat to some enthusiastic 4-year-olds. Based on the smiles on everyone’s faces, it is hard to tell who had more fun—Chris or the kids!
