Open Comment Period – Electronic Lien Titling Program

The Bureau of Motor Vehicles has made public the draft rule for the Electronic Lien Titling Program. An overview of the program was discussed during the League’s Credit Union Town Hall last month. The proposed rule can be found here.

As part of the rulemaking process, the public can provide comments concerning the Bureau’s proposal until September 29 at 5:00 pm. Comments can be emailed to PublicComment.SOS@Maine.gov. If you prefer to have your comments submitted by the League, please reach out to Ellen Parent, Director of Compliance, at eparent@mainecul.org.
