Northeast CU recently announced two new hires. Ken Lawrence joins the credit union as its Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Dan Raposa is the new Vice President, Executive Director of the Northeast CU Foundation.
As a leader in Information Security and IT Infrastructure, Ken brings over 20 years of experience to his new role, where he will implement and lead technology transformations to support the credit union’s commitment to enrich and nourish the lives of their employees, members, and community.
“We’re excited to leverage Ken’s vast IT skillset and executive leadership experience as we focus on enhancing our technology that safely and securely delivers our services and products to our members,” shared Chris Parker, President and CEO at Northeast CU.
Ken comes to Northeast CU from Partners FCU in Orlando, Florida, where he served as their Senior Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Security Officer. His storied career includes spearheading the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and applications for large-scale, globally distributed data centers, creating IT security teams, and providing Special Operations support to the United States Army for 15 years as the Director of Corporate Security, Infrastructure & Architecture.
Dan comes to the Foundation with over 35 years in fundraising and philanthropy experience. In this role, he will lead the Foundation in its efforts to support the credit union’s mission to enrich and nourish the lives of others. He will develop Foundation programs and sustain funding to enhance strategic community involvement in the areas of food insecurity, access to affordable housing, and educational support.
Dan joins the Foundation after serving as a vital member of the credit union’s Supervisory Committee, where he was responsible for the oversight and safeguard of member assets. Additionally, he provided advice, assistance, and support to the Board of Directors in its supervision of credit union operations.

His years of fundraising experience are rooted in his ability to build relationships and develop insights into what motivates people,” added Parker. “His history with our credit union, coupled with his extensive involvement in the communities we serve, perfectly align with our goals for the Foundation.
