NorState FCU is donating the fees it collected last year from its coin counter machines in Madawaska, Presque Isle, and Fort Kent locations to local nursing care and assisted living facilities. They will use the funds to support their respective activities departments. The credit union is coinciding its donation with National Activity Professionals Week.
In presenting the donations, Susan G. Whitehead, CEO at NorState FCU, stated, “On behalf of NorState FCU members, staff, and volunteers, we sincerely thank you for your professionalism during a year of pandemic and isolation. We give special thanks to your activities departments who brought residents moments of joy and inclusion during these trying times.”
