Jeffrey Davenport, President and CEO of NorState FCU, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Johnson as the credit union’s Senior Vice President of Strategy & Performance. In his role, Johnson will lead implementation and development and oversee the progress of NorState FCU’s strategic initiatives.
“Mark’s data-driven background will be an important part of moving NorState forward with an improved and enhanced experience for not only our employees but our members as well,” said Davenport.
Johnson brings decades of data-driven and people-focused management experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Assessment Partnerships at a major educational non-profit. He also has many years of teaching experience having worked in a middle school classroom and in financial sales and service.
“I’m looking forward to making an immediate impact at NorState, improving the experiences of its members and employees, and contributing to the robust future success of the organization,” says Johnson.
Johnson is a native New Englander. He and his wife have been growing deep roots in Aroostook County since moving to Frenchville in 2016. Johnson began his duties at the credit union on November 6.
