NorState FCU Accepting Scholarship Applications

NorState FCU is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for its 2022 scholarship program. The credit union will be selecting six high school seniors to each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Awards will be provided to the chosen students in June.

To be considered for a scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Active NorState FCU member
  • Accepted to an institution of higher education
  • Attends a high school in Aroostook or Northern Penobscot County

“NorState Federal Credit Union is thrilled to be able to help young scholars further their education,” said Susan G. Whitehead, Chief Executive Officer at NorState FCU. “As a credit union, being a cooperative, community involvement is very important to our being. This is why we encourage our applicants to be civically minded and involved. Each year we are pleased to find our applicants living a cooperative life of community involvement.”

Scholarship applications are available online at norstatefcu.org. The deadline to apply is May 16, 2022.
