NCUA’s Financial Technology Office Hours Now Open for Self-Scheduling


(From the NCUA) -Credit union representatives, financial technology companies, and credit union associations can schedule time November 12 – 14, to speak with Amanda Arias and Steven Winkeljohn from the NCUA’s Office of Financial Technology and Access.

Areas of discussion can include, but are not limited to, questions related to emerging technology in credit unions, fintech inquiries from credit unions, financial inclusion through technology, and barriers experienced by credit unions and fintech companies when interacting with one another.

Below are a sample of questions the NCUA can help answer for credit unions during the office hours:

  • What barriers does your credit union experience when adopting new technologies?
  • Are there legacy systems or processes that make it difficult to integrate new technologies?
  • What challenges do you face in selecting and onboarding fintech vendors?
  • How do regulatory requirements impact your adoption of new technology?
  • How does staffing and budget impact your ability to implement and manage new technology?
