NCUA Chairman Todd M. Harper Testifies Before the Committee on Financial Services

Harper testified before the before the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Financial Services during its “Oversight of Prudential Regulators: Ensuring the Safety, Soundness, Diversity, and Accountability of Depository Institutions” hearing. In his remarks, Chairman Harper discussed his regulatory philosophy, the state of the credit union system, recent NCUA rulemakings, and the agency’s response to COVID-19, among other topics.
