Midcoast FCU Supports the Midcoast Youth Center

The team at Midcoast FCU is always working hard to carry out the credit union People Helping People philosophy. Last week was no exception. The credit union spent time giving back to the Midcoast Youth Center in Bath. This critical community organization is devoted to improving the lives of children, teens, and young adults in Sagadahoc County, including youth who are experiencing homelessness.

On September 20, the credit union presented the Midcoast Youth Center with a check for $5,000. The financial support will be used to help cover costs associated with the center’s enrichment learning experiences, the Compass Afterschool Program, and summer programming. It also will help provide free food, clothing, and toiletries for those in need.
