Management Roundtable Speaker Profile: Patrick Adams

"Enthusiastic, energetic, passionate, entertaining," are all words that have been used to describe Patrick Adams as a speaker.  Add words, such as "knowledgeable," "insightful," and "experienced," to the mix, and it all adds up to why Patrick Adams is such a sought-after and popular speaker.  Adams will bring his more than three decades of working with and for credit unions to the 2015 Maine CU League's Management Roundtable, when he presents his session called, "Thrive in the Shift."  Though the Roundtable is still a month away, more than 70 credit union leaders and officials are registered for the event happening September 22-23, at the Samoset in Rockport.

As the final speaker at this year's Roundtable, Adams will provide the perfect conclusion and provoke thoughts and questions for attendees to consider and bring back to their credit unions for further discussion.  Adams will discuss the necessity of embracing change, and the ramifications to those organizations that do not "change with the times."  As the President/CEO of a credit union himself, Adams will share his own experiences and highlight the challenges and opportunities that change has presented at his credit union, and offer some ideas and examples of how his credit union has adapted to a new environment and marketplace.

In addition to Adams, the Management Roundtable features a line-up of great sessions and speakers beginning with your League's President John Murphy's opening session, a Roundtable Discussion.  Former NCUA Board Chair, Dennis Dollar, Lee Weatherington, Director of Strategic Insight for ProfitStars®, and a Panel of Maine CU CEOs dicussing current topics and sharing best practices, are also scheduled to speak and present.
