Maine State CU Spends Weekend Serving Its Communities

It was a busy weekend for staff at Maine State CU. With giving back at that heart of everything the credit union does, employees stepped up in a big way to serve members and their community.

In Rockland, the branch held its first annual Shred-It Day. The credit union offered everyone in the community an opportunity to stop by and shred their old financial documents for free.

On Saturday, 25 team members (20% of Maine State CU’s employees) participated in MaineGeneral’s Day of Hope 1.8-mile Walk for Hope through the University of Maine Augusta campus. This annual event supports the ever-growing needs of local cancer fighters. The credit union also served as the event’s Survivor Sponsor.

Hats off to Maine State CU team for making a difference in the communities where they serve!
