Maine State CU has opened a new branch at 25 Portland Road in Gray. Located in the Gray Plaza, the branch will support the banking needs of both current and future members.
“Adding a full-service branch in the Cumberland County area has been on the Maine State CU to-do list,” said Stephen Wallace, President and Chief Executive Officer at Maine State CU. “It’s more than providing new brick and mortar, it’s showing local members we support their communities and listen to their needs.”
To celebrate the opening of the new location, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on November 30, 2022, at 8:30 am, followed by a brief reception. The Sebago Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce, the credit union’s senior leaders, and local business owners will be in attendance for the special event.
“We’ve met so many great Gray-area residents so far,” says Nichole Lee, Vice President and Branch Manager at Maine State CU. “I’m so excited to make new community connections and provide local banking services to existing and new members in this area.”
The Gray location is the credit union’s first full-service branch in Cumberland County. Maine State CU has additional branches in Augusta and Waterville and a business lending office in Portland. A Rockland branch is expected to open in 2023.
