Team Maine Savings helps “Champion the Cure.”
On August 17, Maine Savings FCU proudly fielded a team of 110 dedicated walkers, runners, cyclists, and volunteers at the Champion the Cure Challenge. This incredible effort raised $6,765 to support local cancer research and treatment. The credit union’s involvement in the event demonstrates Maine Savings’ strong commitment to going “Beyond Banking.”
Whether they were helping at water stations or crossing the finish line, the Maine Savings FCU team embodied the spirit of perseverance, care, and of course, People Helping People. By helping to champion this critical cause, the credit union, along with all of the event’s many participants, provided hope and compassion for those battling cancer.
