When Maine Highlands FCU opened its new branch in Canaan in 2019, the credit union planned a celebration event for its members and staff. While the pandemic forced the credit union to postpone the festivities, the team there remained committed to hosting an event when it was safe to do so.
Last month, the credit union held its long-awaited grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting. Attendees enjoyed a barbecue lunch, giveaways, account drawings, and more—proving it was worth the wait to commemorate the Canaan branch.
