Maine Family FCU proudly announced the success of its recent “Strapped for Cash” fundraiser, held on Friday, November 1 to support the Campaign for Ending Hunger. During this one-day event, credit union employees took turns being “strapped” to a chair for 60-minute increments, encouraging members to donate towards this critical cause. Over the course of eight hours, the credit union raised an impressive $1,085.

“We’re overwhelmed by the generosity of our members and community,” said Dan Clarke, President/CEO of Maine Family FCU. “The Campaign for Ending Hunger is an incredibly important cause, and our ‘Strapped for Cash’ event shows how much people are willing to come together and support a vital mission. We’re grateful to everyone who joined in.”

For those who couldn’t attend but still want to support the cause, donations can be made online.
