Lisbon Community FCU is proud to announce the recipients of its Dream Box initiative, unveiled during this year’s Very Merry Main Street celebration in Lisbon Falls.
Community members submitted an incredible 160 heartfelt wishes, each sharing hopes for joy, comfort, and meaningful moments. While every dream told a powerful story, Lisbon Community FCU was honored to grant two wishes that will make a lasting impact on local families.
One recipient, Kathee McLean, shared a dream centered on togetherness—a family trip to Santa’s Village in 2026. The experience will give the McLean family the chance to create treasured memories filled with laughter, tradition, and holiday magic.
The second dream was submitted by Kandace Conner, whose wish focused on helping others. Conner hoped to provide her grandparents, including Jackie Merrill, with a handicap-accessible shower, improving safety and comfort in their daily lives.
“These wishes reflect the heart of our community,” said Ron Hood, Marketing Officer at Lisbon Community FCU. “From joyful family experiences to thoughtful acts of care, the Dream Box reminds us that dreams don’t always look the same—but every one of them matters.”
Very Merry Main Street is a beloved annual community event that brings together local organizations, volunteers, and residents to celebrate the season and support one another. The Dream Box initiative was created to give attendees a space to share their hopes and dreams, reinforcing the credit union’s commitment to community connection and compassion.
Lisbon Community FCU extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, shared a wish, and helped make this initiative so meaningful!
