Lewiston Municipal FCU is pleased to announce it has changed its name to Milestones FCU. The change went into effect on October 18.
In defining the credit union’s strategic plan, the credit union evaluated their attachment to the name they’ve proudly carried for nearly 77 years with their responsibility to prepare for future opportunities and growth. After careful consideration, the Board of Directors unanimously voted to change Lewiston Municipal FCU’s name to better align with the credit union’s long-term goals.
There will be no impact to existing member relationships or accounts. The new name simply highlights the credit union’s commitment to growth and supporting their members as they work to reach their financial goals and milestones.
The credit union was charted in 1944 and has since evolved to include over 1,800 members. It holds over $30 million in assets and serves individuals who work for the cities of Lewiston and Auburn and their families in its field of membership.
