Elevate 2024 is officially just under two months away—and we cannot wait to see our credit union friends in person! Our League’s annual Convention also brings ample opportunities to support causes we all care so much about, like CULAC and the Campaign for Ending Hunger. Here are all the ways you can help make a difference:
Annual Ending Hunger Golf Tournament
There is still time to show your support for the League’s signature fundraising event and the Campaign for Ending Hunger! Taking place May 16 at Purpoodock Club in beautiful Cape Elizabeth, industry peers will gather for a day on the greens, raising money for our hungry neighbors in need.
There are multiple ways you can help fight hunger through our golf event. As always, you have the chance to join your colleagues on the course by entering a foursome. You’ll want to act quickly, though, as there is only one foursome available to purchase!
Additionally, sponsoring the golf tournament is a wonderful way to show your support and get your organization’s name out there. Sponsorship of this event is truly what makes it possible, and the more sponsors we have the better we can make the day for all involved. All sponsorship opportunities will close by the end of the day on April 5 so we can prepare all signage and materials for the tournament, so don’t wait!

The “Get Tickets” button in the top right is where you can purchase tickets, and the “Become a Sponsor” tab will present you with all currently available sponsorship opportunities.
Annual Ending Hunger Online Silent Auction
The Annual Ending Hunger Silent Auction needs your support! Our auction thrives on the kind donations from your credit unions, volunteers, and community partners. If you are able, please consider completing the convenient donation form on the League’s website and forward your auction item(s) to the League by Friday, April 19. If any of your volunteers and/or community partners may have something to donate, please consider sharing Lauren McCallum’s contact information with them (lmccallum@mainecul.org).

If you are unable to send your item(s) by this deadline, or if you would prefer to bring it with you to Convention, you can email a photograph of the item instead to Lauren McCallum.
All auction items will be on display from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm at Elevate on May 17 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay. Online bidding will conclude at 2:30 pm and items will be available for pick-up after 3:00 pm.
