League to Host Webinar for Education of Court Documents

Your credit union is tasked with safeguarding the privacy of member information and money. Understanding court documents is an important component of protecting members' privacy and accounts. Your League will be hosting the webinar, Understanding Court Documents: Power of Attorney, Representative Payee & Conservatorship, on Thursday, June 25, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., to help educate you and your staff on this matter.

Attorney, Frank Drake will provide an overview of various court documents and the tricky issues related to them including how to handle powers of attorney, UTMA conservatorships, custodial accounts, subpoenas, and representative payees. This webinar is designed to educate frontline staff but will also be beneficial for managers, accounting compliance, audit, and collections staff.
