League Mourns the Passing of Terrence Daigle, Sr., Longtime Volunteer for Katahdin FCU

The League joins Katahdin Federal Credit Union in mourning the passing of Terrence “Terry” Daigle, Sr.

Terry served on Katahdin FCU’s Board of Directors for over 36 years. He served as both Vice Chair and Chairman, and for the past five years, was an Honorary Director.

“His accomplishments go far beyond the board table,” said Tina Jamo, President/CEO of Katahdin Federal Credit Union. “He dedicated his life to education and volunteerism, touching the lives of many people in the Katahdin region.”

Terry taught at Stearns High School for 37 years and served in many roles including English teacher, Spanish teacher, assistant principal, principal, and adult education director. He worked hard to accommodate the needs of his school system and positively impacted the lives of many students throughout the years. He also loved to travel.

“Terry’s life’s work in education, his dedication to the community, and his devotion to the credit union industry exemplify the very philosophy of which we are so proud – People Helping People,” added Jamo.
