While a number of individuals have already returned their form indicating an interest in serving on one of your League's Committees, final committee assignments have not yet been formalized, and there is still time to be submit forms. Because of the high number of vacations and the July Fourth holiday, the deadline to return Committee Volunteer Forms has been extended until Wednesday, July 15th.
Your League Committees provide an opportunity to be involved, engaged and have a leadership role in developing ideas, initiatives and recommendations on a variety of topics ranging from statewide awareness and education to governmental affairs and social responsibility, as well as several others. "Committee meetings generate significant discussion, bring diverse opinions and perspectives together, and have a positive role on building cooperation among credit unions. Committees play an important role in your League and Synergent operations," remarked Jim Lemieux, Board Chair for your League, who will work with Committee Chairs to finalize and approve final Committee appointments in the coming weeks.

Three additional Committees (Governing, Nominating and Personnel) are by appointment only.
