Kate Vickery, Dean Walker, and Justin Whitlock Join Atlantic FCU Foundation Board

The Atlantic FCU Foundation is pleased to welcome three new board members: Kate Vickery, Dean Walker, and Justin Whitlock. Their leadership comes as the Foundation renews its mission to end hunger in Maine and expand financial education, recognizing that housing, health, education, and technology are critical to building stronger communities.

Kate Vickery, a lifelong Maine resident and Atlantic FCU member for over 30 years, offers 23 years of nonprofit expertise. As a Director at Make-A-Wish America, her skills in fundraising and governance will help her evaluate and maximize the Foundation’s community investments, ensuring resources go to impactful, well-managed organizations.

Dean Walker, Chief Operating Officer of R.M Davis—a locally owned, independent wealth management firm—brings over 30 years of investment expertise to the Atlantic Foundation Board. He has devoted significant time to coaching youth sports and supporting the Friendship House for men’s recovery. His entrepreneurial drive, management expertise, and commitment to financial literacy are invaluable.

Justin Whitlock, an account and relationship manager at Systems Engineering for 20 years, also has a strong background in governance and finance, having served as Board Chair and Capital Campaign Co-Chair for 317 Main Community Music Center and as President of Yarmouth Little League. His commitment to giving back, combined with his discerning and considerate nature, aligns well with the Foundation’s mission.

“Kate, Dean, and Justin each bring a strong history of service and leadership,” stated Chris McGorrill, President of the Atlantic FCU Foundation. “Having their voices in the room will help us better support the community’s Atlantic serves.”
