Join Us for Credit Union Philosophy & Values Next Week

The credit union movement and what it represents is special. The focus on community and our shared People Helping People philosophy cultivates a strong, secure, welcoming financial environment for members across our state, country, and globe. To help credit union employees grasp the depth of the movement, what makes it unique, and what principles it operates on, the League is offering Credit Union Philosophy & Values on Wednesday, February 21.

The goal of Credit Union Philosophy & Values is to help credit union employees understand the history of credit unions and co-ops and the impact it has on today’s credit unions—giving attendees a closer look at just how special credit unions are. The session will also inform participants about the Eight Cooperative Principles, which provide the foundation for the credit union movement. Lessons learned from this course will be incredibly helpful for anyone at any level who is looking to develop their career within the credit union industry.

This class will take place virtually from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Registration is $175, or $150 for credit unions under $50 million in assets. There is still time to register. Please visit the League’s website to secure your virtual spot
