The York and Alex Ferguson Chapters are looking forward to welcoming their young professionals (YPs) in just under two weeks for a special opportunity to gain valuable insight into advancing a career in our industry. This event is open to all York and Alex Ferguson Chapter credit union employees aged 40 and under, and it’s not too late to register!
Taking place on Thursday, July 25 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at PeoplesChoice CU’s 23 Industrial Park Road location in Saco, the chapters will host a panel discussion where attendees can ask credit union Presidents/CEOs questions about their journeys to success in the credit union world. To get the most out of this experience, we suggest YPs come prepared with questions they’d like to ask industry veterans.
Following the panel, which will be hosted by our League’s Director of Outreach & Financial Education, Jake Holmes, there will be a networking social hour full of games and connection, allowing YPs to talk about common goals and aspirations as well as discuss challenges being faced at their credit unions.
While this event is free to attend, we ask that you register on our website to help prepare for the proper headcount. Don’t miss this chance to expand your professional circle, meet like-minded peers, and learn how to grow in your career! Food and drinks will be provided.
We hope you are a member of our Young Professionals Network (YPN), but if not, we invite you to come see how great it is at this event! If you enjoy it, consider joining our Network for access to other statewide events just for YPs.
