In conjunction with the Volunteers’ Conference on October 28 – 29, the League will be holding a silent auction to benefit the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC). With election season now upon us, your credit union’s support of CULAC is timely. You can help us with our efforts by donating an auction item, bidding on items at the Volunteers’ Conference, or doing both!
What Is CULAC?
CULAC allows credit union members and employees to get involved in the political process by contributing to the PAC that supports credit union-friendly candidates running for office. Contributions to CULAC are used to help elect candidates who understand the credit union difference and who will fight to ensure that credit unions remain the best financial services option for consumers.
Silent Auction
The League is accepting donations to be auctioned off during the upcoming Volunteers’ Conference. The format of the auction necessitates a detailed description of everything included in the donation, as well as a photo of the item.
We recognize it may be a difficult time of year for credit unions to make donations, but we hope you will donate an item if you are able. Your support will help the League remain effective in our efforts to support friends of credit unions running for office.
Donating an Auction Item
If you are able to donate an item, please complete our convenient online form by October 24. The form will allow your credit union to indicate how you will be delivering the item to the conference. If you are providing more than one item, please fill out the online form for each donation.
