Bangor FCU shows its support for the Brewer Area Food Pantry.
Each year, the employees and members of Bangor FCU unite to collect non-perishable food items for a local food pantry, supporting neighbors facing food insecurity.
The need for these efforts continues to grow as food pantries and community organizations work to meet rising demand. This year, the credit union collected both food donations and monetary contributions to benefit the Brewer Area Food Pantry on North Main Street in Brewer. Thanks to the generosity of members, the dedication of the credit union’s team, and the support of the community, a total of 755 pounds of food was donated, along with a $738.73 check to help the pantry further its mission.
