NorState FCU has donated the user fees it has collected from their three coin sorters to local Aroostook County charities since 2014. Thanks to NorState FCU members and the community, a total of $6,587.17 was collected during 2025—funds which have been donated to the Hope & Justice Project (HJP).
“Thank you to NorState FCU for supporting Hope and Justice Project’s mission to help victims of domestic, dating, and sexual abuse and violence throughout Aroostook County,” stated Courtney Chasse, Hope and Justice Project Executive Director. “As a non-profit agency, HJP relies heavily on its community for donations in order to best meet the needs of all survivors. All donations go directly to support our services, enabling us to support over 1,000 victims each year throughout the county.”
NorState FCU is pleased to announce it has selected the recipients of their 2026 coin sorter fundraising efforts. Those organizations include Caring Neighbors for Cancer Education & Recovery (C.A.N.C.E.R), the Edgar J. Paradis Fund, and Pink Aroostook. All three assist those impacted by cancer in Aroostook County.
