For League and Maine CUs, Vegas Is Filled With Diamonds and Blockbusters


The recent CUNA Marketing Council Conference in Las Vegas proved to be an award-winning one for your League, Synergent and Maine credit unions.  Three Maine credit unions, your League and Synergent Direct Marketing Services all took home first-place trophies from the Diamond Awards and the PRO and Blockbuster Awards.

In the 2015 Diamond Awards, your League scored Diamond Awards for its 2015 Dues Brochure and 2015 Statewide Awareness Campaign, as well as a "Category's Best" Award for the Statewide Awareness Campaign.  Three Maine credit unions also took home four Diamond Awards as well as two "Category's Best" Awards.  Two of the Diamond Awards were associated with the work of Synergent Direct Marketing Services with ConnectED Credit Union (formerly Maine Education CU) on its re-branding campaign.  ConnectEd CU's campaign was selected for a Diamond in "Brand & Corporate Identity" and was additionally awarded a "Category's Best" designation along with only 5 others awarded.  This latest addition to the trophy case marks the fourth time in the past four years of competition that Synergent Direct Marketing Services has received an Award. 

Also, picking up Diamond Awards at the competition were cPort CU, which received two Diamond Awards and a "Category's Best" Award for its College Aspirations Scholarship Program in the PR/Community-Service category, and for its "Why cPort Brochure" in the Membership Brochure/Packets category.  Finally, Midcoast FCU left Vegas with a first-place Diamond Award in the Corporate/Brand Identity category.

In addition to the Diamond Awards, your League also received a first-place Blockbuster Award for Community Relations for its School Spirit Challenge for Ending Hunger, a collaborative effort with WGME CBS 13 and FOX 23.
