Five County CU’s Shaun Carr.

Five County CU is pleased to announce that Training and Development Manager Shaun Carr earned the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance® (CPLP) credential from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Certification Institute. Earning the CPLP certification means Carr possesses the knowledge and skills to be a top performer in the talent development field.

“Please join me in congratulating Shaun Carr for earning his Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential,” said Shaun’s supervisor Jennifer Andersen, Vice President of Retail Services at Five County Credit Union. “To earn this credential, Shaun had to successfully meet certification standards and requirements. This process was rigorous and required dedication, as well as personal time and effort.”

The CPLP certification process is rigorous and challenging. It produces candidates with a breadth and depth of knowledge that brings significant benefit to their employers, colleagues, and clients. To earn the CPLP certification, Carr acquired industry-related experience, successfully passed a knowledge examination, and a skills application examination.

“Our credit union is fortunate to have a designated ATD master trainer taking serious ownership of the process of training and developing our staff,” said Anderson.
