Fall Fundraisers Help Cumberland County FCU Generate Over $26,000 in Support to End Hunger

It was a busy fall at Cumberland County FCU. Through the remarkable support of their members, vendors, and staff, the credit union proudly raised an impressive $26,625 for Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. This outstanding achievement was reached well ahead of the busy holiday season, showcasing their commitment to making a difference in the community.

Contributions to the Campaign were generated through a variety of engaging fundraising activities including:

  • September Calendar Fundraiser
  • 1st Annual Pickleball Tournament
  • 6th Annual Bag Toss Tournament
  • October Employee Dress Down Month
  • November & December Employee Dress Down Weeks

“These events are a true testament to the spirit of giving and teamwork,” said Scott Harriman, President & CEO at Cumberland County FCU. “Every dollar raised stays in our local communities and will make a meaningful difference in those communities.”

Cumberland County FCU extends a heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a role in their fundraising success and looks forward to once again showing their support for the Campaign in the new year.
