Explore Volunteer Opportunities with the Travis Mills Foundation

Credit unions consistently volunteer their time and talent to support a variety of causes to make the world a better place to live and thrive. If your credit union is interested in pursuing a new way to give back in 2025, the Travis Mills Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks to support their important work. Join the League for an informative webinar on January 28 at 1:00 pm to learn more.

Since opening its doors, the Travis Mills Foundation has served over 2,278 veteran families through its nationally recognized retreat located in the Belgrade Lakes Region of Maine. Veteran families who have been injured in active duty or as a result of their service to our nation receive an all-inclusive, all-expenses paid, barrier-free experience in Maine where they participate in adaptive activities, bond with other veteran families, and enjoy much-needed rest and relaxation in Maine’s outdoors.

The Foundation is embarking on its ninth year and is planning its most ambitious year of service yet. To learn how your credit union employees and volunteers can help, attend our brief webinar facilitated by John Romac CDR USN (Ret), Volunteer Coordinator at the Travis Mills Foundation. To sign up, please visit the League’s website. Zoom meeting details will be shared prior to the event.
