Evergreen Credit Union Makes Time to Give Back

Evergreen Credit Union is dedicated to caring for their neighbors in York and Cumberland counties.  As part of their ongoing efforts to support the communities they serve, Evergreen recently contributed over $16,000 to eight local food pantries. Their donation supported food banks in the cities/towns of Biddeford, Saco, Naples, Portland, South Portland, Westbrook, and Windham.

“Our credit union family is truly committed to helping enhance the lives of those who live in and work in our community; that means assisting those in need,” said Jason Lindstrom, President/CEO of Evergreen Credit Union.  “We have tremendous service organizations in this area doing critical work on tight budgets.  It is our hope that through our contributions, we can help them continue their missions.”

Prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, Evergreen donated five baskets to families in need, and employee efforts to fulfil the Christmas wishes of some local families are already underway.
