Credit unions are stepping in to support our friends at Good Shepherd Food Bank, and the response to our emergency funding request has exceeded all expectations!
When the League and Synergent announced an increased fundraising match of $100,000, we met our goal in just a matter of days. This means the Campaign for Ending Hunger will provide Good Shepherd Food Bank with more than $200,000—an incredible accomplishment made possible by the widespread support of credit unions and our partners.
If you haven’t yet pledged a donation to support this effort, there’s still time to contribute. The League kindly requests that all funding commitments be made by April 30. We plan to present Good Shepherd Food Bank with a check on May 15 during the League’s Annual Meeting. Donors will be invited to participate in the check presentation. Be on the lookout for an email from Burke with more details.
