Winter’s arctic blast has credit unions dreaming of warmer spring temperatures. To help boost your balmy vibes, the League is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 86th Annual Meeting and Convention, now known as Elevate24. This year’s special event is taking place on May 17 and 18 at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland. Secure your spot to attend and/or sponsor by registering on our new Convention website. The site will be a valuable tool for Convention attendees, showcasing vendors, featuring speakers, and containing the event’s agenda.
“The League is thrilled with how this year’s Convention is shaping up and our agenda should be finalized soon,” shared Robert Caverly, League Vice President of Advocacy & Outreach. “We also are excited about the enhancements we’ve made with the new website. We believe the site will enhance the user experience for both attendees and vendors. While Convention is still a few months away, the League encourages people to register now and hold the time on their calendars.”
Attendees also can secure—and are encouraged to—secure their hotel reservations. To make an early reservation, please complete the 2024 Hotel Reservation Form and return it to Jordan Inkley via email at jinkley@mainecul.org. The early room reservation cutoff date is March 1. On March 4, the link to book additional rooms will be sent out.
“Convention is a perfect opportunity for credit unions to come together and collaborate on a variety of topics impacting our movement,” shared Cris Wescott, Interim President/CEO of the Maine Credit Union League. “I know my team at both the League and Synergent are looking forward to connecting with our credit unions and vendors. It will be a busy few days but one that I’m confident will invigorate our spirit and fuel our collective success.”
With inspiring keynotes and breakout sessions, an exhibit show, silent auction, the annual awards program, and plenty of opportunities for networking and socializing, Elevate24 is an event your credit union won’t want to miss!
