September is a month many golfers look forward to all year long. It’s a beautiful time to golf, and this year, you can play while raising money for Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger.
The League’s annual tournament has gone virtual, which means more teams can play at one of three popular courses at a time that works for their schedules. Proceeds from the event will benefit our signature social responsibility initiative. Are you registered to participate?
Since play is open all month long, there is still time to register a team if you haven’t signed up. Visit the Campaign for Ending Hunger website to reserve your spot. The cost for a single player is $160. If you already have a team in place, please document your day on the greens with photos and share them on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #EndingHungerGolf.
Additional tournament details including format, rules of play, and sponsors are posted on the website. All golfers are allowed one mulligan, but can purchase an additional mulligan online for $10 in advance of tournament play.
Since 1990, Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger has raised over $9.6 million and has helped ensure individuals and families across Maine have access to healthy, nutritious meals.
