Eastmill FCU Announces Employee Promotions

Eastmill FCU has promoted several dedicated employees to new roles. The credit union shared the news on its Facebook page and offered some insight about each staff member.

Lisa Moore has been promoted to Branch Manager of Eastmill FCU’s main office. She began working for the credit union in 1995 as a Teller and has worked her way up the ranks, wearing many hats throughout her tenure. Lisa works hard to ensure the credit union’s members are served with care and always takes the extra step to listen and help.

Patti Smith has been involved in the credit union movement for 40 years. Patti was first hired by Bernice “Bunny” Jarvis in 1983. When she was hired, each teller kept records of accounts on cards in a file as there were no digital records. Patti worked her way up within the organization, serving as the Accounting Assistant and then the Systems Supervisor. She is the credit union’s “go-to person” for many departments. Her latest accomplishment is her promotion to Vice President of Operations. Her daily tasks involve all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the credit union.

Crystal Brown began her credit union journey as a Part-Time Teller in 2004—a position she held until 2008. After taking some time off, she returned to her teller roots in 2010 and was later promoted to Loan Clerk. As a valuable addition to the loan department, she now serves as a Loan Officer, where she works hard to brighten everyone’s day.

Sherri McLaughlin first joined the Eastmill FCU family in 2005 and in 2014 became the credit union’s Receptionist. She was the happy voice members would hear when calling the credit union. She had many responsibilities in that role and has now been promoted to Visa Coordinator. Sherri is the person to call if you have questions about your Visa debit or credit card.

The League joins Eastmill FCU in extending our congratulations to these four employees on their promotions!
