Don’t Delay If You Want to Run for the League and Synergent Board of Directors


2025 is officially here, bringing us closer to an important deadline: January 15. That date marks the closing of our League’s Intent to Run form. If you or someone you know is interested in running for the Board this year, filling out this quick and easy form is a prerequisite.

To submit your intent-to-run, simply enter your name, email, and the category you would like to represent on the Board—choosing either your region or asset size category. After January 15, all submitted intent to run forms will be sent to the Nominating Committee. After confirming eligibility requirements (ensuring you are a President/CEO, member of your leadership team, or a Board Director), you will be added to the election slate.

In March, electronic ballots will be sent to credit union CEOs (in Maine only). At that time, they will cast votes in the categories their credit union represents. Commencing with the elections, all Board seats will be considered vacant. The election results will be finalized and communicated at least 30 days before the League’s Annual Meeting in May.
