People helping people is at the core of everything we do here at the Maine Credit Union League and Synergent. While this sentiment is meaningful all year long, we recognize that the holidays can be a difficult time for many individuals and families. But, giving back is what we do best, and this year, our employees didn’t disappoint.
Through the Adopt-A-Family and Adopt-A-Senior initiative, League and Synergent staff donated toys, clothes, and money to fulfill the holiday wishes for a local family and two seniors in need. Every item on the “wish list” which included coats, boots, Barbie dolls, – even a leather watch – was filled. Our League shoppers even had one dollar left to spare and put toward next year’s fund. Items were delivered to The Opportunity Alliance on Wednesday and will be distributed to the recipients before Christmas.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who made a donation. Your generosity will go a long way in bringing joy to many this year!
