To help commemorate its 9th year of operation at Cony High School, Connected CU’s school branch has a fresh new look thanks to the design team at Synergent, your League’s service subsidiary. In addition, Lexi Webber has joined the staff of Connected CU and will work at its high school branch. As the newest asset to Connected CU’s team, this busy mom of three will help manage branch operations and lead financial literacy efforts at the school.

“We are thrilled Lexi has joined our team,” said Wendy Brochu, Marketing/Business Development Representative with Connected CU. “Having a branch on Cony High School’s campus provides Connected Credit Union with an opportunity to educate students on the importance of financial responsibility at the most influential time in their lives.”

Connected CU’s branch at Cony High School is full-service. Open from 10 am-2:30 pm during the academic year when school is in session, students and faculty have access to a variety of traditional credit union services, as well as financial education.

“Our presence at the school allows us to provide presentations in a classroom setting, creating a learning environment where students are comfortable asking questions,” said Brochu. “The open dialogue helps students relate to real-life experiences which will help them now and in the future.”
